But you can’t stay here.
Another year over. A new one just begun.
As much as I love to decorate for the holidays, it really is depressing taking it all down.
Ah well.
What’s next?

We unholidayfied the house today too. Though I wasn’t so into Christmas this year and do the full on decorating. There were lights on the house and a Christmas tree. None of my other “stuff” – my mom’s handmade decorations, the Dickens Village or my collection of Nativity scenes.
Happy New Year Miss Karen!
Nadine – Yeah, I did a scaled back job of decorating this year too. I just didn’t have it in me to go the distance.
Maybe next year in the new house? We’ll see. :)
Happy new year. Hope it’s a good one!
Hi Madeleine! Thanks for the comment and thanks for stopping by!!
Happy New Year!
Karen,
For me, it’s such a relief to pack away all the holiday decor. I’m always anxious to start the new year, as I much prefer a fresh new beginning.
I think the only reason why I even bother with the Christmas decor is for my Mr6.
Happy new year, Karen.
Keep us posted with your big move.
cheers
nerima – As much as it makes me sad to take down all the decorations, you are right, it also does feel kind of good.
A new start indeed!
Thanks.
