I’ve had days like this
I’m with ya, little sistah. I’m no fan of the bunny either.

EDIT: A commenter suggested that little Hannah, above, might see this photo later and laugh. I dunno. Some forty years later when I see this photo, I still feel kind of embarrassed. According to the family story, I put my mom through the wringer that day. I have no idea why I didn’t want to have my picture taken, but damnit, I wasn’t having it!
This is me at age 2, photo taken at Indian School Elementary in Albuquerque.
You’ll have to speak to my mother about the uneven bangs.

This is, or comes very close to, child abuse. What is the point of the whole thing?

Jan – Well, to be fair…per the accompanying article:
“…Hannah cracked a smile when Franzoy introduced her to Santa Claus a few months ago…”

Chica,
When she grows up she’ll show her friends this photo and laugh.

Ephraim – Maybe….

Mom made the dress too. She managed to make the cuts straight because the dress was not squirming. Perhaps you can take a bit of credit for the uneven bangs.

That school photo is EPIC.
I want to stop laughing, but I can’t seem to manage it.
Remember, just about everyone has a school photo like that. Or two. My mother typically refused to buy my school photos. If she thought I thought ugly in them, she just gave them a pass. Of course, I’d love to have them all, ugly/goofy or not. I’d happily post them on the interwebs, even! Ha.

Elise – The majority of my school photos have a big smile and am working the camera. Except for my “way to serious” senior photo. I like to put all the school photos side by side. It’s like a film ode to decades of questionable hair styles.
