Might as well share my other blue ribbon, for best short story in the Western class.
On Saturday I got a chance to read an excerpt aloud at the fair. Many of the writers/readers were a bit shy and reserved in their reading. Not me. I went in there with *jazz hands*

Lucky – Thanks! Is it inappropriate to wear my blue ribbons pinned to my shirt like…every day? How about pinned to my pajamas? Is that bad?
It’s fine. It’s what I would do. . .actually, I might use replicas pinned to myself, and keep the originals in a special glass case.

Did we get that liking public speaking from Dad? Weird huh? Or maybe it is a sick need for attention. I also was asked the other day how i could be so relaxexd when playing guitar on stage. Only because playing for an audience is fun really….
